PHILOSOPHY AND GOALS
As a Catholic school, we at St. Mary's Central believe that in sending their children to us, parents give us a special privilege. This privilege is also a request that we join them in the challenge of nuturing God's love in their children. We believe our presence as a Christian faith community supports the development of each child's self-esteem and potential. Therefore, we are dedicated to providing a family atmosphere in which each child is encouraged to respect himself/herself and others as God-given gifts to the world. We firmly believe that with the combined effort of the staff, parents, and parish family, our children will have the role models necessary for them to meet every circumstance of life with a Christ-like attitude.
Furthermore, we realize that our curriculum must be geared to provide our students with the necessary skills to meet the challenges of the future. Therefore, we are dedicated to individual excellence in both ourselves and our students. Because education is a joint effort, we strive to utilize parental and community talent and involvement. It is our firm hope and belief that through our efforts, St. Mary's Central School Family will send forth loving, concerned, educated students who integrate Christian values with life's experiences.
St Mary's Central School currently serves 129 students in grades Pre-K through 8.
